Over this past spring break, the lacrosse team and traveled
to Orlando Florida. The first night we got there, having no food in the house
that we were staying at, we needed to go out to dinner. We decided to do so as
a team. Walking in to the Golden Corral with 29 other guys I would expect to
ruin any employees day by loading them up with work right before they closed,
however that was not the case. The employee at the front counter greeted us
with a smile ready and willing to help us. After getting a table which was very
clean, the food that we got to choose from had many options, and every single
one appeared to be equally delicious. The ones that I had lived up to the appealing
visual it gave off and was in fact very good. One problem that I have experienced
at other buffet style restaurants is being able to get refills on my drink regularly.
However I did not face that problem here having a waiter at the table at the
perfect time every time with another drink. After dessert, we were waved
goodbye and got into our van. It was definitely a good way to start our trip as
a team in Florida.
Why do you guys think the servers were so welcoming to the men's lacrosse team? how would you have felt if the servers weren't as welcoming to you since that's what you were expecting?
ReplyDeleteI've never been to golden coral however I know that any restaurant won't be the happiest to see 29 young men coming into eat. But seeing that they did a great job with you guys makes me want to go there, where's the closest one to Nichols?
